Holiday Wreath (large)
Out of stock
Description: These woodland-inspired wreaths are handcrafted from natural materials. Many of the fresh and dried components are harvested from Philly Beginning Farmers' gardens and farms in Philly and Chester, as well as foraged and sourced locally. Make a great first impression on your guests this holiday season by hanging this wreath on your front door, or hang it over a mantel or on a wall to surround yourself with the fresh and fragrant outdoors. Wreath measures 18-inches in diameter and can include Noble Fir, Incense Cedar, and Juniper on a metal frame, with foraged botanical elements. *Please note: All wreaths are natural and handmade so the botanical accents may vary.
The wreaths are crafted by Philly Beginning Farmers, a group of urban farmers (including folks from Strawberry Mansion, as well as recently resettled refugees from Nepal and the Congo) committed to improving food security in their communities. These dedicated farmers improve food security in their neighborhoods by providing emergency food donations to community members in need; through farm markets that increase local fresh food access; through garden coaching sessions for community gardeners to build local food sovereignty and self-sufficiency; by helping to maintain gardens run by community elders; and through youth and adult education around sustainable agriculture.
Uses: Use to decorate and bring cheer to your holiday with an ethically and handcrafted wreath that supports a great cause!
