Our goal at PFW has always been to get more local food into more homes throughout the greater Philadelphia region, and part of that means feeding our neighbors and communities in need. We have launched a new program to provide low-cost produce boxes to nonprofit organizations that host food giveaways. If you have the means, consider setting up a weekly, biweekly or monthly donation of $2.00, $5.00, $10.00 or $15.00 to help supply those in need with good, local food to sustain them during these uncertain times. Help us fund our new program to increase local food access for community members in need! In addition to our weekly food donations, we have launched a new program to provide low-cost produce boxes to nonprofit organizations that host food giveaways. We are currently selling the boxes (a $35 to $45 retail value) for $20. If we can subsidize this program with monetary donations, our goal is to offer the shares to community groups and other outreach organizations for as little as $5 — all while continuing to pay our farmers the same amount for their harvests.As always, thank you for your support.
