How it works

Shop the largest selection of local food in the Greater Philadelphia region!

In our online market, you’ll find everything you need for weekly meals (and treats and gifts) all in one place—plus weekly/biweekly/monthly farm share boxes and supplemental subscriptions.

Step 1: Sign Up for a Free Account

Click here (or “Join” at the top right corner of our website) to begin our simple three-step registration process:

First you will choose your order delivery method. You can choose either home delivery or one of our community pick-up locations (more details below). Your delivery or pick-up day will be determined by the delivery/pick-up site location you choose.

FLEXIBLE DELIVERY TYPES

Community pick-up: Free

We have partnered with businesses, schools, cafes and more to create a network of over 60 pick-up locations around the city.

Pick-up is generally from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, but varies based on the site.

Click on the sites on the map to read more about their specific delivery instructions.

Home delivery: $8/delivery

Enter your address during sign-up and you will be assigned to a delivery day. You can also check out the map to see when we are in your neighborhood.

Each route has its own delivery window (generally about a 4 hour range). Once your account is enabled you can see your delivery window on the "upcoming orders" section in your account. All delivery windows fall between 10am-8pm.

For deliveries in the greater suburbs, we ask that you leave a cooler with an ice pack on your porch. Our driver will transfer your items into your cooler to preserve freshness.

If you have specific delivery constraints or notes for the driver, please be sure to specify those during the sign-up process.

After you choose your delivery method, you will enter your name and email, password, and, if desired, select a prepayment value to load onto your account.

Prepayments are 100% optional and help us invest in our producers and give farmers more financial stability.

Step 2: Shop a la Carte or Choose from our Subscription Boxes (or do both!)

Once your registration is complete, head to the PFW online market and start shopping! Browse and add items to your order a la carte, sign up for one of our weekly, biweekly, or monthly produce boxes and/or supplemental subscriptions, or do both.

Shopping cut-off times are as follows:
For Tuesday Delivery/Pick-Up—Monday at 8am
For Wednesday Delivery/Pick-Up—Tuesday at 8am
For Thursday Delivery/Pick-Up—Wednesday at 8am

A la Carte
Build your order from scratch each week by selecting what interests you from the market, or add extra items to your chosen subscription box

Produce Box Subscriptions
Choose from our selection of produce subscription boxes to get a hand-picked bounty of seasonal fruits and vegetables delivered to your home or pick-up location every week, every other week, or once a month.

Items will be uploaded to your account on Fridays by 10 am. If you choose a customizable box, you have the option to remove items from your subscription and add additional items from the online market by your designated shopping cut-off time. If you choose a non-customizable box, you can still add additional items from the online market and skip deliveries whenever you want.
