Lamb: Stew Cubes

Stew meat can be cut from any part of the lamb, but is most commonly cut from the shoulder and trimmed of most of the fat. These pieces will be extremely tender, with fantastic flavor. Click on this item to see the full description.

Weight and Price: The average weight is 1.04 lbs. The price per lb is $21.99 and the average cut (1.04 lbs) is $22.86 (listed in the short description). On the day of delivery, our team will select a cut of meat from the designated weight range and charge you accordingly.

Pastured, antibiotic & hormone locally raised lamb. The lamb is processed locally in a USDA facility. Commonly cut from the shoulder lab stew meat is great for slow cooking meals, and classic, hearty..well, stew! 

Storage: Keep frozen until ready to prepare. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 2-3 days.

Gobblers Ridge Farm

Located in New Providence, and run by run by Katie and Henry Esch, Gobblers Ridge lambs are grassfed and grass finished. These animals have constant access to pasture and are never fed grain. In the winter months and dry seasons they feed on foraged grasses in the form of dried hay, baleage and silage. The farmers oversee the breeding and feeding of their animals from birth to slaughter.
