Description: This 9-inch pie can serve 6-8 people. This listing is for 1 gluten free apple crumble pie to be delivered with your share the week of Thanksgiving. You will be charged the full amount when your order is placed but the dessert will be delivered with your order the week of Thanksgiving (11/20/2023).
Note: This pie will be unbaked and frozen. To bake the pie, brush the outer edge of the crust with an egg wash (one egg + 1 tbsp water) and preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Take the pie out straight from the freezer, cover loosely with tin foil and place on a cookie sheet (in case of drippings) and bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 45-50 minutes until the crumble is golden brown and apple filling is bubbly.
Ingredients: all-purpose gluten-free flour (white rice flour, brown rice flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, arrowroot powder, guar gum), apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, unsalted butter, crisco, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt.
