Gluten Free: Pecan Pie (ala)

Description: This 9-inch pie can serve 6-8 people.
Ingredients: all-purpose gluten-free flour (white rice flour, brown rice flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, arrowroot powder, guar gum), unsalted butter, pecans, dark corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, salt
Note: This pie will be unbaked and frozen. To bake the pie, brush the outer edge of the crust with an egg wash (one egg + 1 tbsp water) and preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Take the pie out straight from the freezer, cover loosely with tin foil and place on a cookie sheet (in case of drippings) and bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 45-55 minutes until the filling is bubbly.
