Making Thanksgiving dinner but afraid you'll run out of time to make the perfect dessert? Going to a friend or family member's house for dinner and want to impress? This delicious pecan pie is gluten-free and sure to please!
Ingredients: all-purpose gluten-free flour (white rice flour, brown rice flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, arrowroot powder, guar gum), unsalted butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cloves, salt.
Note: This pie will be unbaked and frozen. To bake the pie, brush the outer edge of the crust with an egg wash (one egg + 1 tbsp water) and preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Take the pie out straight from the freezer, cover loosely with tin foil and place on a cookie sheet (in case of drippings) and bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 35-40 minutes until the filling is set.
