Description: This creamy, tangy, and absolutely delicious Loveneh labneh is the product of Merion Park Cheese's collaboration with Erivan Yogurt. For over 50 years, Erivan has produced authentic Armenian yogurt (madzoon) in a suburban Philadelphia grade-A facility. Erivan is family-owned and uses only traditional methods to produce its products. Experimenting with their yogurt, we discovered it is the perfect base for producing labneh that tastes as good as the middle-Eastern treat we grew up with. We joined forces with Erivan to perfect and produce our labneh, which, unlike mass-produced labneh products, uses no whey protein or pectin thickeners. We use only traditional methods which produce a very creamy and tangy dip, spread, or culinary ingredient. While this process is labor-intensive and time-consuming, the difference is immediately noticeable. Loveneh is for those who want to enjoy authentic flavors and textures, previously not easily found in this part of the world.
