FarmArt is one of the Philadelphia region’s top produce distributors. Their mission is to provide their customers with the sweetest fruit and freshest vegetables in the most dependable, friendly manner. They're a family-owned business, started by Steve Klinghoffer. The Klinghoffer family has supplied produce to the Philadelphia market since 1972. Their family has over 100 years of collective experience in the produce business, bringing knowledge from retail, farmers' markets, food-service and even organic farming sectors to the FarmArt brand. After years of farming organic tomatoes and selling fresh produce through retail channels, founder Steve Klinghoffer and family tapped into the wholesale market, building on business from chefs who purchased in bulk from the now-closed FarmArt retail store in Strafford, PA to become Philadelphia's wholesale produce specialists. From their current headquarters just outside the city in Folcroft, FarmArt supplies the region's top restaurants, cafes, caterers, and retailers with high-quality produce from around the world and the mid-Atlantic region. They saw a need for a local-centric outlet and started the brand Barefoot Boy under their parent company.
