Mushrooms: Cremini

Naturally dark cap that ranges in color from light tan to rich brown, with a meaty texture and earthy flavor.

Description: Naturally dark cap that ranges in color from light tan to rich brown, and a meaty, earthy flavor distinguish the Crimini from the Agaricus (white buttons). The hearty Baby Bella can be substituted in any recipe specifying white buttons when a more full-bodied taste is preferred. They are ideal for sauces, soups, appetizers, pasta dishes and more. They can be cooked on the grill or pan fried for a side dish.

Recipe: Here's a garlic butter roasted mushroom dish!

Storage: Store your mushrooms tight together! Transfer the mushrooms to a storage container that can fit the mushrooms in a small area. The tighter the wrapping the better! If you don’t have Tupperware - transfer the mushrooms into a ziplock bag with a paper towel to prevent moisture from collecting on the mushrooms.
