Its versatility in the kitchen is what we love most, as you can easily feature it as a main course or as part of your next fish tacos. Acadian Redfish is a great substitute to New England's favorite fishes such as haddock and cod. Best of all, you get a lot of value for your money as this fish is very reasonably priced and packed with loads of protein and vitamins.

Packaging & Usage: High tech flash frozen and vacuum sealed in 1 lb. portions at peak freshness from the ocean. Each packaged item provides the transparent catch data to harvest your local catch; the species, fisherman, vessel, port of origin, and gear used.


Storage: Keep frozen and thaw in the refrigerator before cooking. Product has four day refrigerated shelf life.

Red’s Best was founded in 2008 by Jared Auerbach. As a young fisherman from Boston, Jared worked on commercial vessels in Alaska and Cape Cod during the early 2000’s. He worked alongside hardworking fishermen and saw that with the advent of industrial technology and the governmental regulation of open oceans, traditional fishing communities and family fishing businesses began to struggle for survival. He also saw the abundance of species available to us in New England’s pristine cold waters. He set out to create a way for consumers to have direct access to the freshest seafood.
