Gochujang Chili Sauce

$8.00

15 oz bottle

Gochujang Sauce is traditional in Korean cooking. We Love You's version is totally vegan, but it has a depth of flavor made possible by fermentation. When you incorporate this sauce into your menu, its rich savory umami flavor will satiate your tastebuds in a way that will surprise you. Click on this item to see the full description.

Description: If you’ve ever had bibimbap* (rice bowls) at a Korean restaurant, you’ll most certainly have had gochujang sauce served to you on the side to mix in. It’s spicy, it’s sweet, it’s tangy and it’s delicious. You can eat this sauce traditionally by mixing it in with rice bowls, but we like to be unconventional sometimes and mix it in with ketchup or mayo to add an extra layer of flavor. I guess you could say we use it like you would mustard. It is so good. You won’t regret it!

Ingredients: Water, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt), Sugar, Tapioca Syrup, Brown Rice, Red Pepper Powder, Salt, Apple Juice Concentrate, White Distilled Vinegar, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion, Garlic, Onion.

Allergens: Contains Soy.
Certifications: Non GMO Project Verified, OU Kosher Certified and gluten free GFCO certified.

We Love You

We Love You, formerly We Rub You, was created in 2011 by Korean American sisters (and best friends!) Ann and Janet Chung. Daughters of South Korean immigrants and Texas natives, they eventually made their way to NYC. Here Ann and Janet hosted countless barbecues where Korean, Texan and NY cultures collided into a fantastic mash-up of Korean togetherness, Southern hospitality and NY chutzpah. They witnessed how much their friends enjoyed Korean BBQ and it inspired the sisters to launch their upstart Korean BBQ sauce company. “We want to share with you the very best of Korean flavors. We bottle our sauces knowing that our family recipes aren’t just ours. They’re a throwback to our ancestors, a modern Korean-American mash-up and now a collaboration with you. Thanks for cooking with us!”
