Beef: Ribeye Chipsteak

Out of stock

Description: Ribeye steaks are cut from the upper rib cage area. This section is lightly worked and has lots of fat marbling, which makes it perfect for super hot and fast cooking. Chip steaks are also known as sizzle steaks. This cut of steak doesn’t need to be thawed and is often cooked while still frozen. While it’s most often used in steak sandwiches, many other recipes use chipped steak. Ribeye Chip steak is perfect for sandwiches, and the Philly cheesesteak is the ultimate of steak sandwiches. The thin slices of beef cook quickly and are easy to chop up while cooking. Meat, cheese, and veggies are cooked together on a flat top grill to make cheesesteaks. Each steak is 1 lb.

Storage: Keep frozen until ready to prepare. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, or cook from frozen.

Honey Brook Harvest Collective

Located in Honey Brook, PA the Harvest Collective is a group of farmers that all grow and contribute to our food system we're working hard to develop. Initially, we first met Reuben Riehl in the fall of 2012 and began talking about this crazy idea of him supplying the CSA. Now, two and a half years later, Reuben and eight of his neighbors are growing crops, making cheese, and raising chickens, beef, pork, duck, and lamb for the CSA. The group is only open to growers that care greatly for their land and take pride in their natural growing methods. While they are not certified organic, they do everything in their power to raise their crops and animals in the healthiest way possible.
