When she couldn’t find one, she invented The Original reCAP. The Original reCAP Pour gave rise to a new company, where Karen and the team live and breathe all things Mason jars. Their passion for a better world put the “re” in reCAP – Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Inspired by a personal goal of zero-waste, Karen was passionate about bringing reCAP to life – in the hopes the cap would make Mason jars more useful and have a positive environmental impact. The best way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place. American-Made & Erie-Strong Raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Karen’s vision for reCAP is to keep it local and strengthen her hometown community.
