A love of Mediterranean food inspired this salami. Za'atar is a blend of sumac, thyme, and sesame that compliments grilled lamb, and it's even better in this salami. Click on this item to see the full description.

Description: They add a bit of cane cola for a hint of sweetness and barky herbaceous-ness that plays well with lamb. These meats are Pastured Raised with No Antibiotics. There are also No Nitrates.

Storage: Shelf-stable until the date printed on the packaging. Once opened refrigerate and use within 7 days of opening. 

Ingredients: Lamb, pork, salt, cane cola (carbonated water, cane sugar, natural flavors, caramel color, phosphoric acid, caffeine) dextrose, celery powder, black pepper, spices, garlic, sesame seeds, lactic acid, starter culture.

Brooklyn Cured

Brooklyn native Scott Bridi founded the company in 2010 when he set up a stand at New Amsterdam Market. He has years of experience cooking in restaurants and making charcuterie in New York, most notably at Gramercy Tavern and Marlow and Daughters butcher shop. At Brooklyn Cured, they make small-batch charcuterie using sustainable meat and fine-dining technique. Making sausages, hot dogs, bacon, smoked meats, and salumi using meat raised with no antibiotics from farms that they trust. Their products and flavor profiles are inspired by the cultural diversity and culinary history of Brooklyn neighborhoods that have attracted hard-working people from all over the world.
