Herb: Mint



A bunch of mint is great to have on hand to add to desserts, yogurt dips, drinks, cocktails, salads and more!

Description: Mint is native to the Mediterranean and Western Asia. It's sweet, cool and refreshing characteristics has made it popular in drinks. Sweet summer tea, cocktails, or warm winter tea are three common uses. Though, mint is also good when dressing meats or to flavor water before boiling potatoes or peas.

Recipe: Check out this recipe for roasted eggplant with tomatoes and mint.

Storage: Trim the ends, place in a shallow glass of water and refrigerate. Will keep 8-10 days. To fresh freeze mint: chop, transfer to ice cube trays wit a small amount of water, once frozen transfer to freezer bag.
