Red Beets have a robust, earthy flavor and can be used in many ways in the kitchen, great served warm or cold - red beets can be roasted, pickled and juiced as well!

Description: A colorful root vegetable containing powerful nutrient compounds. These beets have been trimmed of their greens to provide optimal storage conditions. Beets are an ancient, prehistoric food that grew naturally along coastlines in North Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Recipe: This Roasted Beet and Walnut Dip is a great alternative to mayo or sour cream based dips. It's also extremely delicious! 

Storage: Store beets in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. The beets can last up to two weeks or longer this way.

Innovative and forward looking, these farmers extend their growing season with high tunnels, and combine old and new techniques to responsibly and productively farm their land.
