Christina Maser Co. is a woman-led business. Our story began in the ‘90s when our owner & founder Gretchen (or Christina, depending on how you know her) learned how to make jam. It was from not just a sincere desire, but a genuine need, to feed her children who experienced many food sensitivities at a time when finding “allergen-friendly” food items on the shelf was unheard of. Always possessing a creative spirit, Gretchen’s budding passion for canning and preserving led to growing her own herbs for inventive, new jam flavors. Soon, jam-making expanded to sauces, vinaigrettes, and more. Eventually, the line expanded to include candles, soaps, and bath & body products...all thoughtfully handmade in Lancaster, PA. Today, our mission is to create small batch products that tread lightly on the Earth. We aim to eliminate single-use plastics from our packaging, opting instead for reusable, recyclable, and compostable materials. We strive to support our immediate community by sourcing supplies and ingredients as locally as possible, opting first for smaller, privately-owned growers, companies, and distributors.
